Funicular

A new, modern Flying Dutchman funicular opens for business in April 2010. Until it becomes operational, a bus has been provided to ferry visitors up the long, steep slope to the popular viewpoint near the old Point lighthouse.


Taking the funicular not only saves a long walk, up many steps, to see the lighthouse and take in the magnificent view; it presents the opportunity for a Flying Dutchman-themed adventure for children and adults.

The funicular saves time for visitors on busy itineraries and is also wheelchair-friendly.
