May I bring friends and family along when
using My Green Card?
Yes! The card holder is welcome to bring along friends/family (a maximum of 6 SA citizens – 3 adults and 2 children.) Proof of ID will be required.

May I renew the card once the 12 entries have
been used?
You are only allowed one card per year. Once your 12 entries have been used, you may purchase a SANParks Wild Card.

Shop A1, Westlake Square, Cnr Westlake Drive & Steenberg Road, Westlake (Mondays to Fridays from 08:00-16:00)
Buffelsfontein Visitor Centre, inside the Cape of Good Hope section of TMNP (Mondays to Sundays from 08:00-16:00).
Tokai Forest TMNP Office, Tokai Road, Tokai (Mondays to Fridays 08:00-16:00 closed between 13:00-14:00)
They will also be on sale from Mondays to Sundays at selected Cape Town Tourism Visitor Information Centres, as from 1 August 2011.

What do I need to bring with me when buying
My Green Card?
You’ll need the R80 for the card; 2 ID photographs and proof of residence.

How long before I get My Green Card after
application?
It will be issued to you immediately.
Please note that permits for specific recreational activities (dog walking, mountain biking, etc.) are not included when purchasing a SANParks Wild Card or TMNP My Green Card and must be purchased separately.
Activity Permits
The TMNP Activity Permit is required by individuals who regularly make use of the Park to undertake a specific/variety of activities. Activities requiring a permit are as follows:
Level 1 – Dog-walking (R55)
Level 2 – Hand-gliding and paragliding, sport/rock climbing
(R130)
Level 3 – Horse-riding, mountain biking, line fishing and
transport (R200)
Level 4 – Consumptive use and transport (R400)
Valid line fish and MCM permits are required when
purchasing Level 3 line fishing and level 4 activity permits
respectively (for use in Cape of Good Hope).

For how long, from date of purchase, is the
TMNP Activity Permit valid for?
One year from date of purchase.

Does the cost of my permit include the cost
of access?
Holders of an Activity Permit card will still be required to pay the entrance fee/be in possession of a ‘My Green Card or National Wild Card when accessing TMNP pay points (The Cape of Good Hope (Cape Point), Boulders Penguin Colony, Oudekraal, Silvermine and Tokai).
